Terms of use

Effective 16 August 2026

Fintch is an information tool, not investment advice. It is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner or tax adviser, and is not registered as any of those.

Nothing Fintch shows you is tailored to your circumstances. Every user sees the same score for the same company. If you want a recommendation about your own situation, speak to a licensed professional.

1. What Fintch is

Fintch scores publicly traded companies from 0 to 100 using a published methodology applied to public company filings and market data. It produces a composite score, five pillar scores, and labels such as Buy, Hold or Reduce that describe where a company falls on that scale.

Those labels describe the output of a model. They are not instructions to you. A label of “Buy” means the model scored the company in a particular band, on a methodology you can read in full. It does not mean you should buy anything.

2. No advisory relationship

Using Fintch does not create an advisory, fiduciary or professional relationship of any kind between you and the operator of Fintch. Fintch does not:

The portfolio features, where present, perform arithmetic on figures you type in and apply the same publicly available scores to them. That is a calculation on your own numbers, not a recommendation about your holdings.

3. The built-in analyst

Fintch includes a conversational assistant that explains the methodology and the figures on screen. It is constrained to discuss companies and the published scoring model. It is instructed not to tell you what to do with your own money, and to decline if asked. It is software, it can be wrong, and its answers carry exactly the same status as the rest of the app: information, not advice.

4. Accuracy, sources and availability

Fintch draws on public company filings and third-party market data. Data may be delayed, incomplete, restated, mis-tagged at source, or simply wrong. Scoring weights are a considered opinion about what matters; they have not been validated out of sample.

Fintch is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Fintch may change, break or stop at any time.

5. No performance claims

Fintch makes no claim that its scores predict returns. Nothing in the product or its documentation should be read as a claim of past, expected or achievable performance. Past performance does not indicate future results.

6. Your responsibility

You accept sole responsibility for any decision you make, and for any outcome of that decision, whether or not Fintch was a factor in it. You should verify anything material against primary sources, and consider professional advice before acting.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell or redistribute data obtained through Fintch; do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls; do not use Fintch to build a competing data feed; and do not use it in any way that breaches the terms of the upstream data providers it relies on.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Fintch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or investment losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of Fintch.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Fintch shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to use Fintch in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Positions and conflicts

Fintch does not accept payment for coverage of any company, and no company can pay to be scored, rated or featured. Where the operator holds a position in a company that Fintch scores, that position is disclosed alongside the score.

10. Changes

These terms may change. Material changes to the disclosure will re-prompt you for acknowledgement in the app rather than taking effect silently. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
